It came to my attention that a young intern who works part time here at the soap shop ,did not know the difference between Organic and Natural.Well, for all my peeps that are still confused I’m gonna try to break it down elementary style.Let’s say you have a banana,or as we say in the good ole South…bo nanner. So this bo nanner is a natural fruit. It comes from a tree planted in the dirt. However,it has been treated unfairly. It has been drugged with nasty hormones that make it real pretty and yellow, and make it grow super quick. It also was sprayed with some stinky repellent to keep insects and rodents from eating it. Not only is it bad for us to eat,it’s bad for Mother Earth and its surroundings.
The organic Bo nanner is quit different,it is loved and treated with respect. It is NEVER fed nasty hormones or sprayed with stinky chemicals. It is treated all organically with good intentions for those who eat it .While also protecting our precious EARTH!Organic is by far the best. In all things.
Its healthier for everyone and everything.Natural is not bad,but it’s not the same homey! Now if your in the “special class”and are still confused(like Siser Carol)then this is my last attempt.Gas.There is natural gas and there is a organic gas.Which one do you think is natural? A gas that heats your home,or a gas that happens after you have busted a gut at the Thai restaurant? If you guess the gas that heats your home, you are right! That rich burning Thai gas would be organic.
So now that Virginia knows the difference, lets wrap it up with our products.
We got Organic soaps that are richer and creamer than our natural soaps.Great for all our peeps with skin allergies,or just plain ole sensitive dry skin. You can definitely feel the difference. It’s also nice to know you are not marinating your body with some “special additives”.
So to make our local customers more aware we are going to be at Blair Elementary School’s expo on how to live a “greener life”. We will talk and demonstrate the difference between natural and Organic.
If you are local come out and support this important event.Located at 6510 Market Street Wilmington,NC March 18,2010.
