Momma always said that growing old wasn't for wusses.Yesterday was the day I went and got my hair did. While sitting in the chair I started brainstorming about what a challenge it is to continue to look attractive after 35.Siser and I both notice things changing drastically on our faces and bodies.None for the better. All scary and hairy!
Lets begin.
crows feet on eyes where make up likes to settle and looks like the grand canyon.
Eyebrows that begin to grow up your forehead.
Extra skin that hangs around the neck.Making you feel like you have your own built in scarf.
Your boobers hanging low?Do your boobers hang low,do they wobble to and fro,can you tie them in a knot, can you tie em in a bow?Can you throw em over your shoulder like a continental soldier? “ Do Your Boobers Hang Low”
These are just a few things Siser and I deal with everyday.Trying to suck, tuck, and pluck all back to the good ole days.
Men on the other hand have it much easier or either they just don’t care.On a day to day basis you can see men looking wrong, and not really caring. Or they grow older and tend to look well…sexy.Like Sean Connery, and Kevin Costner. They can get away with being extra hairy, gaining a little weight, and even having a few extra laugh lines. The only thing they need to worry about is their clothes matching and being clean. They don’t worry about gaining weight, when they go to a all you can eat buffet and mow it down. They don’t worry about extra neck skin ,they can just grow a flavor savor or a beard to disguise it.They look rugged or distinguished, and it’s done effortlessly. This just ain’t right!
This is natures way of life.Cruel but true it’s the way things suppose to be.Take a look at the animals around us. The males always look better than the females.Check out the lion family for example. The male lion is loud, arrogant, and extra hairy, and he is the KING of the Jungle, and the female lion is cool with that. Her biggest concern is to take care of her babies, and not be tempted to eat one!So Siser and I have decided that we must try to embrace what must be,and just except growing old. This is after all Gods plan.
