Why is it that when your ready to check out at the store everyone else is too?
Why is it the day you are suppose to get your hair did it looks the best it has in weeks?
Why is it you can stay up all night, and can’t sleep, but when the alarm goes off you are so relaxed?
Why is it your monthly friend comes every holiday, vacation, wedding day, or anniversary?
Why is it the skirt you finally can afford to buy in a catalog is only in available in a 2 or 18?
Why is it the stall in the bathroom you choose always has a smoky turd floating in there.
Why is it that all the shopping carts at target you choose has squeaky wheel, and snot rag in it.
Why is it you run into your old flame with a big zit on your face, and looking all left over.
Siser and I always wonder why things happen that are “just not right.”
It happens a lot when you are in business.Seems like it comes in clusters like checking out at the grocery store.
There are challenges we go through...

Ever notice how everybody's house has a scent? Siser’s smells like apples, and fruity (go figure)she said my house smells like double bubble gum,and patchouli. Our Momma’s house smells like food and some kind of sweet smell.
Ever leave a jacket at someone’s house, and when they give it to you it smells like their house?Whats up with that?Your own scent?I always worry my house stinks.I always smell my clothes in the suitcase when I go on a trip, just to see how my house smells.I like the way a new construction house smells.I wish my house smelled that way.I would like a air freshener that was brand new house scent. like carpet, paint, and wood. Siser would like her house to smell like brand new clothes just purchased from the store,or some chocolate chip cookies. We love coming home to a clean house too,for some reason it just seems that we rest better when things are clean.
Smells definitely effect our moods. That is why fragrance can be very personal.
We take that in consideration when we design...

Siser and I always hear about how Thanksgiving is overlooked. We as retailers start decorating for Christmas after Halloween. We have to. If we didn’t we would never have time to decorate. When you manufacture what you sell you always need to be ahead of the season. Just like advertising in newspapers and catalogs they want your stuff at least a month before.
We are very Thankful and we never forget it. I (carol) went on a mission trip to Honduras in 2008.I saw things you only see on TV there. Things that you never really think could be REAL. If you have ever been to a third world country, then you understand what I mean. It is very sad, and at times, very scary. The trip touched my heart so deep it changed me for life. That is why Siser and I host Fishers of Men soap. They are the group I went to Honduras with, after 10 days in Honduras I invited the group to come to the soap shop and volunteer their time to make a line of soaps we could sell and 100% of the profits would go to Honduras. They were as excited...

This week Siser and I started our first of many You Tube films. Here in Wilmington,we live in the film industry. We have screen gem studios, which films One Tree Hill. Many other films such as A Walk To Remember, I know what you did last Summer and Sleeping with the Enemy just to name a few. With that being said ,we had a professional camera guy with 50 million lights shinning on us. Needless to say Siser and I being the country girls that we are, felt like a bug in a jar .To make matters worse we had to be filmed separately.

Carol starting her first take
Or another words...

To kick off the month of October,we thought it would be fun to talk about Halloween from the past. In 1994 Siser and I decided we would dress up as two old ladies. Our costumes were found at a charity shop, complete with the smells of mothballs,Wind song perfume, and armpit stains. The glasses came from our Grandmother’s old stash from the fifties. One wig came from a mannequin from our Grandmother’s store window. The other wig came from Uncle Dick.To finish the look off Siser had a Mt.Everest hump on her back to look like a severe case of osteoporosis, and a walker. We went to a Halloween fundraiser event complete with a dance floor, and contest. We were a hit.We broke it down old lady style dancing with the walker and cane to house music. Now 15 years later, we are starting to turn into old ladies.Since we are in our early 40s.We are extra gassy, hairy, grouchy, picky, and food sensitive. For example Siser (Eilene) can no longer digest peanut butter, coffee, orange juice, and ice cream without paying for it.Siser (carol) can...

With Summer coming to a end,and a new season beginning,Siser and I have been remembering Summers past.It would begin like this.Family vacations would start off driving in the night, in our blown out station wagon.(there was 6 of us)Mom and Dad always gave Siser Eilene a little cold medicine so she wouldn't drive us all insane.Momma would always feed us a hearty homemade supper, and pack lots of snacks. There was never any stopping at Mc Donald's to eat.If you got hungry ,Mama would pass you an old apple that looked like it had been thrown against the wall about 10 times. You wouldn’t be...
